BOTSWANA IN FOCUS

Photographic Safari

Botswana in Focus

Trip at a Glance

Overview

Botswana is a place that reveals itself slowly through light, movement, and moments that can’t be scripted. This 2027 photographic safari has been carefully designed to take you through three distinctly different environments, each offering its own rhythm, mood, and storytelling potential.

We begin along the legendary Chobe River, based with Pangolin Photo Safaris a destination synonymous with photographic excellence. Here, you’ll spend time on the water, getting eye-level perspectives of elephants, hippos, and birdlife, with clean backgrounds and beautiful light that make for striking, portfolio-worthy images.

From there, we move into the raw, open landscapes of Elephant Sands, where wildlife gathers around natural water sources. This environment offers a more intimate, ground-level experience perfect for capturing authentic interactions and the quiet drama that unfolds around the pan.

Our journey concludes in the Okavango Delta at Expeditions Camp, where water and wilderness intertwine. This is a place of stillness and subtlety, where light filters through palm islands and predators move through the floodplains. It’s here that patience is rewarded, and where some of the most evocative photographic moments are made.

Throughout the safari, the focus remains on creating the space and guidance needed to elevate your photography whether that’s time at sightings, positioning for the best light, or refining your approach in the field. This is more than just a journey through Botswana; it’s an opportunity to connect deeply with the environment, your craft, and the moments that make this part of Africa so extraordinary.
